Nothing brings people together — and unifies diverse backgrounds — more than the universal language of art.

Led by a former diplomat and senior Obama White House official, Salonnière™ uses cultural tools to foster transformative relationships in art and culture, and inspire collaboration among cities, cultural organizations, brands, artists, chefs, designers, thinkers, politicos and innovators.

A salon is a conversational gathering in an intimate setting over food and art for cultural and educational exchange. Led by trail-blazing women across the world from Cairo, to Buenos Aires, to Berlin, to Harlem, to Detroit’s Black Bottom and Paradise Valley, female-led salons and kitchen tables over centuries have launched the careers of artists, provoked new ideas and political movements, and influenced the cultural and intellectual trends of our times.

Salonnière™ curates modern salons in intimate settings, such as private living rooms, artist studios, chefs’ tables, hotels and forgotten spaces… and in our historic headquarters in the storied Paradise Valley neighborhood in Detroit.

Our pop-up arts and social club - Salonnière Social Club - is a format of Salons talks, art experiences and social gatherings that bring together artists, chefs, cultural mavens, entrepreneurs, journalists, fashion designers, filmmakers, activists, politicos, students and other change agents.

Salonnière focuses on projects that bring people together from diverse backgrounds and that provide access for traditionally underrepresented groups in art and culture.

Salonnière™ has worked to champion causes and launch initiatives with foundations, thought leadership organizations, embassies, cultural institutions and other impact partners.

We work with creatives who are making positive change in our communities and the world to represent and introduce them globally.

We're proud of what we've done, and we want to keep doing it.

Global Partnerships

Building on over twenty years of collective experience in building strategic global partnerships, exchanges, cultural initiatives, city diplomacy initiatives and brand alliances, we curate game-changing programs, relationships, networks and opportunities for our clients, creatives and partners. We introduce global influencers, policymakers and institutions to Detroit and introduce Detroit partners globally.

Salon Talks + Travel Experiences

Our salon talks, travel experiences and cultural immersions are inspired by the historical female-led salons that influenced social and cultural change. We work at home and globally with artists, chefs, and aligned partners to create unforgettable salon-style experiences that lead to meaningful connections and increased cultural awareness. We bring art collectors and art enthusiasts to emerging art markets, art cities, and unique destinations to learn about and collect art.
