Art Description
My art work is a good story to me. The meaning behind it is how I put together the Detroit story. I used Detroit landmarks to create a collage. I copied the collage onto watercolor paper and hand colored the paper. It is colorful and represent the big spirit of Detroit.
Art + Activism
Detroit has a lot of examples of Art & Activism. There is a lot of passion for those who put an effort into both art and activism. I like going downtown and looking at the colors and stories of the artwork. I am excited about presenting my work because it reminds me of the style seen throughout Detroit.
